Located in the clutch housing, the clutch release bearing is one of the major components of the clutch kit. This part plays a role in the transmission of energy from the engine to the gearbox. It is involved in the operation of the gearbox via the rotation of the engine and ultimately to the drive wheels.
The development of the hydraulic system has resulted in a significant reduction in pedal wear compared to previous systems. The hydraulic release bearing replaces various parts (the mechanical stop, the fence guide, the hydraulic clutch and the clutch fork).
